DO NOT BE CONSUMED

This Bible reading plan has been designed to work with your busy schedule setting time aside each day for Bible reading. It requires commitment to make it work and it's best if you set aside at least 10 minutes each day. I choose mornings because it is most quiet, before everyone else in the house is getting up. I just wake up an hour earlier and make it my devotion time everyday for worship and praise, prayers, as well as for reading Bible scripture.

The thing to remember is that 'how' you read is more important than how much you read. If you fall behind on days, you can easily catch up with the reading. The best idea is to realize who is speaking in the book and what the issue is and what the message meant to people of those times and places and then asking Holy Spirit to reveal to you what the message can mean for you today in your life. What does it teach you to believe, what does it teach you to become or to do with any given situation. Let Holy Spirit guide you and instruct you and reveal things to you.
I thought it would be difficult to get up an hour earlier everyday, but it is actually the thing I look forward to most now. If I don't start my days in this manner , I feel as I am missing the most important plan of my day, putting Jesus above and before everything else. 
It's all a matter of commitment. My prayer would be that you too would try a daily Bible reading plan and see how you are blessed from such a commitment.
